The Concept
The apartment is based in an buiding, completed in 1960's, so the main idea was to perserved the atmosphere. It is an attic space which means there are interesting volume, formed by the rooftop. The apartment consist of livingroom, bedroom, small kitchen, bathroom and a balcony with a spectacular view over the city.
The Balcony
The main feature of this balcony is the mosaic. It was created in the mid 20th century and it catches a glimps of the atmosphere of that time.
The other feature of that space is the view. You can enjoy a nice cup of coffee while observing the city hills. In the design of this space are used numerous flowers and plants.
A speciale feature is the canopy. The idea is to enjoy your summer dinner on open air, overseing the city, protected form the rain.
The Mood Board
The space is small, so the concept was to keep it simple. As the main feature of this project is the balcony, full of plants, I desided to take the green color and introduce it inside the interior. Due to the interesting volume of the space, I decided to make it white in order to emphasize it. The finishing touches are item, that represent the vintage atmosphere of the last century.
